Jenn earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Anthropology. Following graduation, Jenn gained experience working therapeutically with school-aged youth and adolescents in public school and residential treatment environments. During this time, Jenn earned a master's degree from Seminary of the Southwest in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Latinx Counseling. Jenn approaches counseling from a person-centered, trauma-informed, and social justice-oriented lens. Jenn's areas of experience and interest include trauma, life transitions, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identity exploration, emotional knowledge and regulation, and relational issues. Jenn is in the process of earning her clinical hours towards full LPC licensure under the supervision of Sylveria Sanchez, LPC-S.
