I’m Jennifer Frutos, a Cuban-American, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life’s emotional and psychological challenges. My journey began in women’s health after earning my Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University, and over the past seven years, I’ve specialized in the treatment of eating disorders, providing compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals and families. I work extensively with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, and ADHD, and I bring a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed lens to every session. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. Whether you're seeking support for emotional regulation, disordered eating, executive functioning challenges, or mood stabilization, I’m here to help you feel seen, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that may include therapy, education, lifestyle modifications, medication, or a combination of these, always guided by your goals and values. I believe every person is worthy of living a fulfilling life. You don’t have to do this alone, I’m here to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
