Jennifer Levin (they/them) is a queer, neurodivergent Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in the state of Oregon. Jennifer has experience working with a diverse range of clients from various backgrounds. They are particularly passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals (including those who are Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD) as well as Trans*, nonbinary, or gender-expansive individuals of all ages seeking to unmask and live their life as their authentic self. Whether a client is seeking to explore and better understand identity or expression, navigate identity-related challenges, access neuroaffirming support, or simply find a space where they feel their therapist "gets in" in a way that surpasses explanations, Jennifer is dedicated to creating a supportive and affirming environment. Jennifer earned a Masters level Social Work degree from the Stony Brook School of Social Welfare in Stony Brook, NY. Reflecting their educational focus, Jennifer approaches treatment with an emphasis on considering the broader context, including the various systems influencing the client’s life and society as a whole. They are an advocate for social justice and are committed to supporting marginalized communities by honoring each individual's story, experiences, and specific needs. Jennifer offers in-person appointments, utilizing a play therapy room, telehealth, or a combination of both to accommodate different preferences and lifestyles. In-office sessions may include the integration of animal-assisted therapy, facilitated by Jennifer’s training and certification, with their three-legged Shih Tzu, Loshi. With an eclectic approach to treatment, Jennifer recognizes that one size does not fit all. They draw on their diverse training and life experiences to create a safe space where clients can embrace their authentic selves and work toward their personal goals—whether that involves managing mental health challenges, coping with stressors, enhancing relationships, pursuing spiritual growth, fostering self-acceptance and expression, or other individual aspirations. Jennifer emphasizes identifying clients’ strengths, collaborating to find hope, and helping clients move beyond perceived limitations. When clients arrive feeling hopeless, Jennifer considers it their duty to hold onto and nurture hope until the client is able to share in that vision themselves.
