My greatest intention in working with you is to create an environment in which you feel truly seen and heard. I see this as a natural path towards assisting you in learning to witness yourself more regularly and breaking away from patterns of self-abandonment. I aim to help you decondition from disempowering beliefs that may be leading you to make behavioral choices out of fear, anxiety and shame and instead guide you towards being able to behave from a place of authenticity, self-trust, self acceptance, and genuine capacity-all of which ultimately serves to help you experience improved emotional regulation in the long term. I aim to offer a grounded approach that normalizes and validates the human condition. In the beginning of treatment I always do a thorough review of grounding, coping and self soothing skills. I then often transition to a modality that allows us to go deeper and get more to the roots of a problem, including EMDR and/or ego state therapy interventions.
