Introduction

Hello! My name is Jen and I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist. I’ve been in practice for 5 years. I have experience working BIPOC, queer, and neurodiverse individuals and couples. I provide services virtually in Illinois and am based in Chicago. I help clients work through PTSD, anxiety, executive dysfunction, relationship struggles, family dynamics, self esteem, and kink and poly relationship issues. I like using warmth, compassion, curiosity, humor, and a lot of hand gestures to connect with my clients and establish a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. I work from a trauma-informed stance and use elements of narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, internal family systems, DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), and Gottman to guide clients as they understand themselves, develop coping skills, heal, and improve relationships with others and themselves.
