Introduction

Your mental health matters! I am committed to working with individuals to achieve personal health and wellness through psychotherapy and career mentoring. I have nearly 13 years of experience in working with individuals, and families to reach their goals, feel empowered, and find a place of healing. In my practice, I incorporate tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am trained in EMDR, EMDR Recent Traumatic Event (R-Tep) and Group (G-Tep) protocols. And offer ADHD assessments for adults. I primarily work with adults and adolescents with a wide range of mental health issues and trauma, such as Anxiety, ADHD, Stress, Chronic Illness, PTSD, Acute Distress Disorder, Diabetes Management, and Medical Trauma(s). My specialties include trauma(s), medical trauma(s), diabetes management, caregiving, and first responders. I am certified by the American Diabetes Association as a Mental Health Provider in their Diabetes Education Program and am a T2D Certified Lifestyle Coach. I offer Telehealth sessions in CA. I have founded DiabeteState of Mind a coaching and support platform to help those with type 2 diabetes gain insight and build a positive mindset. I am passionate about helping people meet their personal and professional goals. If you want meaningful and genuine conversations, I am here to listen to you, empower you, and offer support. I take an upfront and honest approach to communication.
