Introduction

Jennifer Minckler is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, depression, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, parenting challenges, and life transitions. Jennifer also has experience working with individuals impacted by abuse, neglect, sexual assault, PTSD, and self-harm. Jennifer believes that symptoms and behaviors often make sense when viewed within the context of a person's experiences, relationships, and environment. Her approach is rooted in family systems theory and guided by a trauma-informed perspective, helping clients better understand themselves while building the skills needed for meaningful and lasting change. Jennifer utilizes evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), and Phase-Based Trauma Therapy. Jennifer is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and develop greater confidence and resilience. Whether working with a child, adolescent, adult, or family, her goal is to help clients create lasting change, strengthen connections, and improve overall quality of life.
