Introduction

* Ready to author your own healing story? I'm here to walk beside you. As a trained therapist specializing in child, adolescent, and family therapy, our work will focus on deepening personal and interpersonal connections and repairing fractured relationships. In our sessions with young adults and adults, the focus turns to intrapersonal exploration and development, as well as creating meaningful experiences that enhance your life. Sessions typically last 50 minutes and are scheduled once a week, allowing for consistent progress and support. Each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals, ensuring personalized care and guidance. * I take a truly holistic perspective regarding mental health and overall wellness, approaching clients in ways that often diverge from the mainstream symptom-based medical model. My methods are not only innovative but are also grounded in research and evidence-based practices. My approach is centered around three core pillars: * Mind-Body Practices: I utilize a Cognitive Behavioral approach interwoven with mindfulness. Techniques such as guided mindfulness, psychosensory exercises, visualization, relaxation, and breathing exercises are used to cultivate healthy mental, emotional, and physical states. Psychosensory techniques involve using sensory experiences to help regulate emotions and bodily responses. Polyvagal theory, which focuses on how the nervous system responds to stress and relaxation, helps soothe and reset the nervous system, enabling you to become truly embodied in the present moment. * Attachment-Based Growth: Attachment theory underpins my work, focusing on how strong, positive relationships can facilitate personal growth and development. This involves understanding the dynamics of these connections and working to repair and strengthen them. * Strengths-Focused Coaching: Grounded in strengths-based theories, I help clients to recognize and build upon their inherent strengths, encouraging a greater sense of self-worth and empowerment. The combination of these practices leads to an integrated understanding of the mind, feelings, and body, all of which are essential to my practice. I emphasize the mind-body (and spirit when appropriate) connection to foster a profound sense of wellness. While my approach is infused with a non-religious spirituality inspired by Einstein's fundamental question of whether the Universe is benevolent or malevolent, engaging with spirituality is entirely optional and client-led. This ensures a personalized experience for clients with diverse beliefs or those who prefer a secular approach. * For those willing to see the world's beauty and humanity's inherent goodness, my method will feel like coming home.
