Introduction

am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas, with experience in individual, family, and group therapy. I have a master’s degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University, and work with children, teens and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, anger, and life transitions. Primarily, I use the cognitive behavioral therapy approach when working with clients, which focuses on changing unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, improving emotional regulation and promoting the development of healthy coping strategies that focus on solving current problems. However, I understands all clients are unique, and incorporate other theoretical technics in order to best meet the needs of my clients. I thrive on building a positive, healthy place for individuals to feel safe and empowered in their therapeutic experience.
