I have been practicing in mental health since 1997. I started my career first as a behavioral health registered nurse in my civilian life and I continued that in the Army until I became a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner in 2008 through the Army’s Long Term Health Education Program. Most of my experience was as an NP has been on active duty working with various adult populations. I retired from the Army after proudly serving for almost 22 years. My family and I have been living in this area since COVID. I have had a private practice for the past 4 years. My main focus is psychiatric medication management with a medical spin. I think it is important to address the whole person and their history when making choices for care. We will work together to come up with a healthcare plan that works for everyone involved.
