I work with children and teens ages 6–18 who may be struggling with anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, school stress, big reactions, transitions, or feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes a child is having a hard time at school. Sometimes a teen holds everything together all day and falls apart when they get home. And sometimes parents know something is going on, but their child doesn’t quite have the words to explain it yet. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. I want children and teens to have a space where they can be themselves without feeling like they have to say the “right” thing. We may work on understanding emotions, building coping skills, improving communication, and finding strategies they can actually use in everyday life. With younger children, I keep therapy age-appropriate and interactive. With teens, I give them room to talk and work at their own pace. I also value working with parents and families when needed, because what happens outside of the therapy room matters too. I bring many years of experience working with children, teens, and families in both mental health and school settings. My goal is to meet your child where they are, help them better understand themselves, and build skills for the hard moments.
