Introduction

About Thrive Therapy, Inc. Thrive Therapy, Inc. is a therapy practice dedicated to helping people move through the aftermath of trauma and difficult life experiences and into a life that feels fuller, steadier, and more their own. We believe hope and healing are possible, and that the right support and evidence-based care can help clients not just cope, but truly thrive. Our practice is made up of three clinicians: me Jennifer Simpson, Christina Hall, and Marcy Meyer. Meet Jennifer Simpson, LISW-S I'm Jenn Simpson, a Licensed Independent Social Worker - Supervisor (LISW-S) and the founder of Thrive Therapy, Inc. My practice is built around a simple belief: that trauma, grief, and fear don't have to define someone's story. I work with clients to process what has happened to them, build practical skills for the present, and move forward with more confidence and peace. Post-traumatic growth IS the point of trauma work. Areas of Focus I specialize in working with clients navigating trauma and PTSD, traumatic grief and loss, fears and phobias, and estrangement from a parent or parents. Whether someone is coping with the lasting effects of a distressing event, mourning a loss that felt sudden or senseless, living with a fear that has narrowed their world, or grappling with a painful break in a family relationship, I bring the same care and attention to understanding what they've been through and what they need to move forward. My Approach I use cognitive behavioral approaches, with particular training and experience in two evidence-based, trauma-focused treatments: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a structured approach that helps clients examine and shift the unhelpful beliefs that trauma can leave behind, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), a proven method for reducing the grip of trauma-related fear and avoidance by gradually and safely facing painful memories and situations. Both approaches are backed by decades of research and are among the most effective treatments available for trauma and PTSD. I tailor each course of treatment to the individual in front of me in a safe and manageable way. Getting Started Reaching out for support takes courage, and I don't take that lightly. If you're dealing with trauma, grief, fear, or the pain of a strained family relationship, I'd be glad to talk with you about how we might work together.
