Introduction

I’m passionate about walking alongside people as they heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in a brain‑based understanding of how the nervous system responds to stress, trauma, and change. I work to create a space that feels steady, safe, and welcoming-somewhere you can settle, breathe, and be truly heard. As a certified EMDR therapist, I integrate trauma‑informed, neuroscience‑aligned practices that support both the mind and the nervous system in the healing process. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ohio University and have spent more than 15 years working in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. These experiences shape my belief that meaningful, sustainable change is possible when we honor the whole person and the way their nervous system has adapted to survive. Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading, gardening, spending time in nature, and being with my family. I typically schedule client sessions during school hours.
