Life doesn’t always go the way we expect. Sometimes anxiety takes over, a loss changes how we see the world, a relationship feels different than it used to, or a major life change leaves us wondering what comes next. These experiences can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, and perinatal mental health. I’m particularly interested in helping people through the periods of life when things feel uncertain or unfamiliar—whether that means adjusting to parenthood, processing a loss, navigating adolescence, working through relationship changes, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again. My approach is primarily grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with other approaches incorporated based on what each person needs. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and down to earth. You don't need to have everything figured out before you start, and I won't pretend there is a one-size-fits-all answer. Together, we'll work to understand what's happening, make space for difficult experiences, and identify what matters to you so you can move toward a life that feels meaningful. Earlier in my career, I worked in several children's hospitals with families navigating serious medical challenges, including severe burns, NICU stays, and brain tumors. Those experiences shaped my understanding of trauma, grief, uncertainty, and the ways difficult experiences can affect an entire family. They continue to inform the way I approach therapy today. Starting therapy can feel like a big step. My goal is to make the process feel approachable and create a space where you can be honest, ask questions, and be yourself.
