I bring over 16 years of experience working across education, criminal justice, and mental health—as a police officer, teacher, school counselor, and behavior specialist. That diverse background taught me how to meet people where they are, whether they're a child navigating school struggles or an adult working through addiction, trauma, or relationship challenges. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce, specialized training in Play Therapy, and certification in Equine Assisted Therapy through PATH International. I'm a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, which allows me to work deeply with clients facing addiction and related issues. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family/Marital Therapy, and behavioral techniques—but I believe every person deserves a personalized path forward. You can expect to feel truly seen and heard in our work together. I work with individuals across all ages, from toddlers through elders, and I'm skilled at building the kind of trust that opens the door to real change. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions and am currently accepting new clients.
