Introduction

None of us make it through life without difficulty or pain—and all of us deserve support, kindness, and grace through hard times and transitions. I believe it's important to be able to talk openly about whatever is weighing us down, without embarrassment or shame. I strive to create that kind of safe, compassionate environment for every person I work with. Humor is also a powerful tool, especially in tough moments—so I love incorporating laughter and lightness into our sessions whenever we can. Therapy isn’t always easy; sometimes we explore painful or challenging topics. But my goal is to keep the process as engaging, supportive, and manageable as possible while we work together toward your goals. I have extensive experience working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, and those healing from sexual assault and domestic violence. I especially enjoy supporting teens and young adults, as well as anyone navigating major life transitions. I’m passionate about normalizing conversations around mental health and helping people understand that it’s something everyone has to work on. In addition to individual therapy, I’m also a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor. My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered. I draw from a range of talk therapy modalities, primarily CBT, and integrate elements of ACT, SFBT, DBT, IFS, and mindfulness-based practices to help clients feel healthier, more balanced, and more empowered. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership: your care should work for you. That might include coordinating with other providers, inviting a loved one to join a session, or tailoring interventions to fit your unique interests and strengths—and I’m always open to exploring those options with you. Not every therapist is the right fit for every person, and that’s okay. If it turns out we’re not the best match, I’ll gladly help you connect with someone who better meets your needs and preferences.
