A little about me... I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor. Since 2004 I have been helping individuals reach their goals. Beginning counseling can be an overwhelming process. My job is to make that a little easier. I offer a 15 minute consultation call to all potential clients. My areas of speciality are anxiety, grief, trauma and suicide prevention. Many times these issues present within the context of relationship. I work with clients ages 13 and up through both in person (San Marcos, Texas) and Telehealth appointments (Texas and Wisconsin). I love working with individuals of all ages, especially high school and college aged girls struggling with anxiety, self image, and depression. Other areas of speciality include trauma and grief. I am trained in a variety of therapy modalities and can draw from these to create an effective treatment plan that helps my clients move toward and reach their goals. I am EMDR trained. In addition, I often utilize CBT and Interpersonal process techniques in my work. When we meet for the first time we will spend time talking about what brings you to counseling and your goals. Together we will start taking the steps to becoming your best self. My approach with clients is warm, inquisitive and collaborative. I want my clients to feel safe and engaged in the counseling process. I am looking forward to meeting YOU!
