Introduction

Jenny Teasley is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with a strengths-based therapeutic style and passion to train other Therapists. Therapist's background includes serving in community mental health, non profit, and private practice. Jenny also holds a Certification as a Mental Health Therapist with the Department of Mental Health, Masters in Counseling, and Bachelors of Social Work. More importantly, Jenny has a heart to help others learn how to thrive in their current season of life. She believes that life is about more than just surviving. DeAron Washington is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at Belhaven University. He has dedicated most of his training to learning how to help couples build more secure bonds. He holds an MA and a PhD from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana and Mississippi. DeAron is available for sessions on Fridays currently. DeAron believes that Love is a sacred gift, yet our ability to give or receive it is often blocked by our inability to get out of our cycles, that same old fight you are stuck in. He partners with couples to help them find their way to connection quicker and ultimately to a stronger relationship. He utilizes his professional training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and academic training (MA, Ph.D.) to help couples wage war against anything that would negatively impact their bond.
