Jenny Tracey (née Bach) is a New Jersey and Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a New York Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Columbia University and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. She has worked in Human Resources (HR) at the Google headquarters in CA and was initially pursuing a legal career following her graduation from Columbia and pivoted careers when she personally experienced coping transformation in counseling. Jenny believes that every individual, including herself, can benefit from therapy and can learn to embrace increased self awareness with emotion regulation and healthier coping strategies. Jenny has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults and has provided individual and group counseling in inpatient and outpatient settings. At the New York Foundling (NYF) Hospital in Manhattan, she trained in Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), a nationally recognized Evidence-Based Treatment modality. She is a Professional Member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) as well as the ACA International Counseling Interest Network, ACA Ethics Interest Network, and ACA North Atlantic Region Members. Jenny focuses on Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Psycho-Education (PE) with a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approach. Jenny also works with individuals living with ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and provides Executive Functioning Training (EFT). Jenny also works with individuals experiencing grief from loss(es) of loved ones and/or pregnancy loss as well as those experiencing distress and/or anxiety regarding IVF/fertility matters and/or wedding planning. She is bilingual in English and Korean and has extensively trained in Cultural Competency and Race-Related Therapy. Within an authentic and empathetic therapeutic rapport, Jenny is dedicated to providing a Person-Centered and Strength-Based safe space to cultivate a substantiated sense of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and positive and lasting change.
