I am dedicated to providing structured, evidence-based care. My clinical foundation was built in high-acuity settings, including opioid treatment programs and community corrections. These roles strengthened my ability to support individuals navigating complex intersections of substance use, legal involvement, and chronic psychosocial stressors. This background has equipped me to work effectively with intense life challenges while maintaining a steady, supportive presence. My practice is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can engage authentically. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support insight and behavior change, while integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address emotional regulation and distress tolerance. I also incorporate principles of Interpersonal Therapy to help us explore how your relationship patterns and social systems impact your mental health. I work primarily with young adults and middle life individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood instability, or significant life transitions. I am particularly passionate about working with personality-related challenges and identity development. Having significant experience with suicidality and risk management, I prioritize thorough safety planning while maintaining a compassionate stance. Across all clinical work, I emphasize client autonomy and the development of internal resources. My goal is to help you build self-awareness, strengthen your coping skills, and develop a more effective and compassionate relationship with yourself as you move toward long-term stability.
