Therapy is a place to slow down, say things out loud, and begin noticing what may be difficult to see while you're living inside of it. My role isn't to tell you how to live your life or make decisions for you. I create a space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment, while helping you recognize patterns, consider different perspectives, and better understand yourself and your experiences. My approach is client-centered, curious, and engaged. I'll listen carefully and follow your lead, but I won't simply sit back and nod. I may point out something you're not noticing, challenge an assumption, ask a question that takes us somewhere unexpected, or offer information that helps you see farther down a path you're considering. The goal is greater awareness and acceptance, so you can make decisions and take action that better reflect the life you want to create. I work with individual adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief, sobriety, relationships, identity, and life transitions. I also work with couples who want to better understand the relationship they've created together—including their patterns of communication and connection, individual contributions to the relationship, areas of strength, and places where they've become stuck. My couples work is informed by training in the Gottman Method and begins with a structured process for understanding the relationship before deciding together where the work should go. Whether you're coming individually or as a coup
