Hi, I’m Jessa Dingess, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in West Virginia and LISW in Ohio. I got started in social work because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people’s stories—what shapes them, what they carry, and how they move forward. My background is in integrated behavioral health and community-based practice, which means I’m used to working with real-life stressors in a practical, down-to-earth way. I specialize in working with adults and teens navigating anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also often help clients who struggle with people-pleasing, boundaries, and relationship patterns. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and goal-focused—we’ll work together to understand what’s driving your symptoms and build a plan that actually fits your life. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable quickly, like they can just talk without pressure or judgment—but also that our conversations lead to meaningful change. I provide a supportive, direct space where you can process what’s going on while also learning tools to cope, set boundaries, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
