Everyone has a story, and I love providing that space for women to feel heard, known, and supported. The desire to help others in this way stirred when I was a young teenager. I am a native Texan who earned an BA in Psychology from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked in various mental health settings, but I have also subbed in our local school district and written adoption home studies. For a season I took a career break to focus on raising our children. Being a wife and mother has shaped me and added not only to my personal toolkit, but also to my professional growth. I value connection and transformation as a wife, mother, friend and therapist. I see women ages 18+ in the comfort of their space through a HIPPA-compliant telehealth session. I integrate various techniques, a holistic approach, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support you towards learning new things, healing, or achieving goals. **Please note that counseling from a Christian perspective is available upon request. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve worked with women ages 18+ to address the following issues: Transitions like college, career, and motherhood Depression, anxiety, and stress Grief and loss Conflict and relationship issues Shame, body image, self-worth Purpose and identity development Christian growth When I’m not in the office, I love simple, focused time with family and friends. I love quiet early mornings reading my Bible, Diet Coke over coffee, baking, walking and working out. My husband and I have three children and a dog named Tater Tot. abidingblooms.com
