I'm a clinically trained social worker with 10 years of experience in various social work settings. I received my Master's in Social Work from Boston College, where I focused on older adults and families. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with people across the lifespan and across contexts. For the past several years I've taken a special interest in crisis intervention as a means to achieving long-term stability and health. I believe that pivotal moments like these are opportunities for growth and healing, and that your decision to seek therapy now represents such a moment. My therapeutic approach centers on the dominant stories in your life—those that cause distress and those that provide support and strength. Many clients I work with experience a dissonance between societal norms that tell them what their lives should look like, and their personal beliefs/lived experiences. I believe our identities are constantly evolving, and we have the power to reshape our perspectives on the past and envision new possibilities for the future. With all my heart, I believe that anyone can feel better, overcome trauma, and live a happy, fulfilling life grounded in the present.
