If I do my job well, you'll stop needing me. My goal isn't to be your forever-therapist. It’s to teach you how your own brain works so you can catch yourself mid-spiral, set a boundary without spiraling about the boundary, and give you the tools to navigate it with confidence long after therapy ends. I love working with anxious people-pleasers and over-thinkers because I know what it's like to rehearse a text message eleven times before sending it, to say yes when every cell in your body is screaming no, and to have your brain hand you the worst-case scenario at 3AM like it's fucking helpful. My style is warm and I have a sense of humor, but I'm also going to ask you questions. My goal is to push you past where you think you can go, so that you can build the confidence to continue growing yourself. I usually recommend starting weekly. Think of it like the gym: you'll see more progress (and you're way more likely to actually stick with it) if you're building momentum early, instead of trying to make change happen once every few weeks. Once you've got some traction and the tools start feeling like yours, we usually shift to biweekly or beyond.
