Hi, I’m Jessica Iverson, a counseling student intern completing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oregon State University–Cascades. I practice under the supervision of licensed professional counselor Amy Weald. I see counseling as a collaborative space where you can speak openly and feel heard, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I’m especially interested in supporting people through life transitions—those times when things feel uncertain, unfamiliar, or difficult to make sense of—and I welcome a wide range of concerns. My approach is grounded, curious, and focused on your present experience. Drawing from person-centered and Gestalt therapies, I help you explore what you’re feeling, notice patterns, and consider what you’d like to change. I also incorporate solution-focused approaches and have completed training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Brainspotting. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, a stronger connection to yourself, and ways to navigate what’s in front of you. Whether you have a lot to say or need time to find the words, there’s room for you here.
