Welcome! I'm Jessica, a Graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Stuart EMDR. Before entering the counseling profession, I spent more than 25 years in leadership development, organizational psychology, and vocational coaching, helping individuals navigate life transitions, discover their strengths, and build meaningful careers. Today, I bring that experience into the therapy room, where I have a passion for helping people heal from trauma, anxiety, grief, and life experiences that can leave them feeling disconnected from themselves. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Transformational EMDR under the supervision and mentorship of Melinda Johnson, LCSW. As the mother of neurodivergent children, I also understand the unique joys and challenges that neurodivergence can bring to individuals, families, and the workplace. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to move beyond survival toward healing, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and flourishing.
