I believe that people are capable of meaningful change, growth, and healing, and I consider it a privilege to be invited into that process. Therapy is not about being told what to do, but about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotions, your relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I view therapy as a collaborative process rooted in trust, compassion, and curiosity. My role is to help create a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to explore difficult experiences with greater clarity and self-awareness. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and have been providing counseling services since 2005. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including substance use treatment, integrated behavioral health within primary care, and dual diagnosis treatment programs. Since 2014, I have owned and operated my private practice, Seaside Counseling Services, located in the vibrant coastal community of Carolina Beach, North Carolina. I provide therapy for adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, OCD, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, life transitions, and other emotional challenges. My approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
