Introduction

I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—the messy, complicated, sometimes irrational parts of being human included. I believe therapy works best when you can show up as yourself without having to say the “right” thing or have everything figured out. I primarily work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD and neurodivergence, self-esteem, relationships, emotional regulation, trauma, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with people who experience the world a little differently, have spent a lot of time masking or meeting everyone else’s expectations, or simply want a place where they can finally exhale. My style is warm, collaborative, person-centered, and pretty human. I take an eclectic approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, behavioral, experiential, somatic, humanistic, and person-centered therapies, along with play therapy for younger clients. Ultimately, therapy should fit the person—not the person fit therapy. I don’t believe therapy should feel like someone is reading from a clinical manual at you. There’s room for humor, sarcasm, awkwardness, hard conversations, and figuring things out together. My goal isn’t to “fix” you. It’s to help you understand yourself, recognize your strengths, build tools that actually work for your life, and make meaningful changes toward the life you want to create.
