My full name is Jessica Hope Murph, but I go by Jess (she/her). I hold a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling, and I’m licensed in the state of Texas to both practice therapy and supervise future therapists. A little about me as a human first: I’m a cis, queer, white woman who owns a fully virtual private practice. I love cooking, animals, gaming, hiking, and being outside whenever possible. I’m also neurodivergent—specifically ADHD—which deeply informs how I move through the world and how I show up in the therapy room. Clinically, I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and polyamorous relationships who have lived through persistent stress, pain, and relational injury. Much of my work centers around complex trauma—how it shows up in the nervous system, relationships, identity, and sometimes even the ways people understand their own personality. I especially enjoy working with other neurodivergent folks and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Outside of direct client work, I’m passionate about public speaking, mental health education, and advocacy that is accessible, affirming, and grounded in real life. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and deeply humanistic. I care a lot about clients feeling safe, comfortable, and genuinely understood—not analyzed or “fixed.” I show up as a real person: I use humor, I sometimes cuss, I have feelings, and I believe authenticity matters. That said, my role is always to hold space for you. If what you need in a session is to fall apart, I’m here for that. If what you need is uninterrupted time to talk things through, I’m here for that too. This space is yours—I work for you.
