I'm Jessica O'Shea, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving individuals, couples, parents, and teens in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I founded Haven Counseling Group to create something I believe every person deserves: a space that feels genuinely safe — warm, unhurried, and free from judgment. My work is rooted in the understanding that our deepest wounds often form in relationship, and that the most powerful healing happens there too. I specialize in trauma, couples therapy, and working with teens and families — using approaches that are clinically proven and deeply human. These include EMDR, the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I earned my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and I bring both professional training and genuine care to every session. My goal is simple: to help you feel seen, to help you understand yourself more clearly, and to walk alongside you toward the life and relationships you want. If you've been thinking about reaching out, I want you to know that taking that first step is an act of courage. I'd be honored to walk alongside you. Areas I specialize in: Trauma — Trauma has a way of staying with us long after the event has passed. Using EMDR and AEDP, I help clients process what has been too painful to carry alone and move toward genuine relief. Couples & Marriage — Whether you are navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or wanting a stronger connection, I use the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples find their way back to each other. Anxiety & Depression — Feeling stuck or overwhelmed is more common than you think — and it is something that can change. Therapy gives you the tools to understand what is driving how you feel and build a life that feels like yours again. Teens & Young Adults — I work with teens in a way that feels safe, not clinical — helping them build self-awareness, navigate relationships, and develop emotional tools they will carry into adulthood. Family & Parenting — I work with parents and families to improve communication, repair ruptures, and build the kind of home where everyone feels seen. Taking the first step toward therapy is one of the bravest things you can do. If you are ready to begin — or even just curious about whether this might be right for you — I invite you to reach out. There is no pressure, no judgment, just a conversation about what you need and how I can help.
