Hello, my name is Jessica Pechan. I became interested in social work while in high school, doing volunteer work in Mexico. That started my love for the country of Mexico as well as my passion for traveling with people when they are going through a hard period of time. My career thus far has included school-based mental health as well as community mental health in various organizations. This has allowed me to work with people as young as 4 years old through adulthood. I have treated many mental health struggles. My training in recent years has been focused on trauma. And trauma can be so many different things for different people. I am now EMDR trained and offer that service if deemed appropriate as part of your therapy. Ultimately, no matter what the concern, It is my goal to help my clients find as much freedom in their lives as possible. Feedback that I have gotten from clients and co-workers is that I am skilled at making people feel comfortable and understood while remaining focused on the individual strengths that a person brings to the table to reach their goals. I deeply appreciate the huge step it is to begin therapy, so I to make the experience as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I look forward to meeting you!
