Introduction

Hi, I’m Jessica, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I support adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation, relationship stress, life transitions, and the pressure of trying to manage everything. I work with adults who may be feeling emotionally drained, self-critical, anxious, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, and who are looking for support in feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves. How I Can Help Therapy That Feels Supportive, Realistic, and Tailored to Your Life I offer therapy that is warm, compassionate, and practical. My approach is tailored to each person and focused on helping you better understand yourself, manage emotions more effectively, navigate challenges with greater clarity, and build tools that fit your real life. Together, we can work toward reducing overwhelm, improving confidence, strengthening relationships, and helping you feel more steady, supported, and more connected to yourself. My Approach Compassionate Care With Practical Tools I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, understood, and not judged. Whether you are facing a difficult season or have been carrying these struggles for a long time, you do not have to figure it all out alone. I use approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and executive functioning support, but therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor our work to your needs, goals, and pace, while helping you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful changes that feel realistic and manageable. What to Expect in Our First Session A Calm Place to Begin Exactly Where You Are Our first session is a gentle place to begin and get a sense of what kind of support may feel helpful for you. You do not need to come in with everything figured out. We can start with what feels most important and go from there. This first meeting is also a chance for you to get a feel for me, my approach, and whether working together feels like a good fit. There is no pressure to explain everything or have a clear plan right away. We can take our time, move at a pace that feels comfortable, and begin finding a direction that feels right for you. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you feel more at ease with the process, clearer about where we can begin, and supported in taking the next step. The Biggest Strengths That I Bring Into Our Sessions One of my strengths is helping clients make sense of what feels overwhelming or hard to sort through in a way that feels compassionate and easier to navigate. I help clients better understand their emotions, patterns, relationships, and daily stressors while building practical tools they can use outside of therapy. I also bring a strong understanding of ADHD and executive functioning challenges, especially how they can affect motivation, routines, confidence, communication, task initiation, and follow-through. I know that many clients are not lacking effort — they need support, strategies, and systems that actually work for how their brain and life function. My approach is collaborative, personalized, and grounded. I use evidence-based approaches in a way that feels practical, compassionate, and connected to your real life. Therapy with me is not about pushing one method to fit everyone. I tailor our work based on your needs, goals, personality, and what feels most helpful for you. My Treatment Approches Dialectical Behavior (DBT) I use DBT to help clients build tools for managing emotions, coping with stress, navigating conflict, and communicating more effectively. Skills like mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness can be especially helpful when emotions feel intense or life feels difficult to manage. Acceptance and commitment (ACT) I use ACT to help clients respond to difficult thoughts and emotions with more flexibility, self-compassion, and clarity. This approach can be helpful for anxiety, self-doubt, shame, overwhelm, and life transitions. ACT also supports clients in reconnecting with what matters to them and taking steps that feel more aligned with their values. Solution Focused Brief Treatment I use a solution-focused approach to help clients recognize their strengths, notice what is already working, and take small, realistic steps forward. This can be especially helpful when someone feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. I like this approach because it keeps therapy grounded, encouraging, and focused on meaningful progress. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) I use CBT to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and daily patterns. Together, we can identify what may be keeping someone stuck and work toward healthier, more supportive ways of coping. I use CBT in a compassionate and practical way, not as a one-size-fits-all approach. Strength-Based I use a strength-based approach to help clients reconnect with their resilience, abilities, and inner resources. Many clients come to therapy feeling discouraged or hard on themselves, and this approach helps create space for confidence, self-trust, and meaningful change to grow in a realistic and compassionate way.
