In my practice, I provide a non-threatening environment where you feel safe and comfortable to address and process what's getting in the way. My interest in trauma studies began in graduate school, corresponding with my brother's service in Iraq. My specialities widened when I volunteered training Service Dogs. I married a Veteran. I am a 15 year member of the SD National Guard. Alongside my time in the military, I've worked in the hospital setting addressing trauma that comes with life threatening diagnoses and medical complications, chronic illness, body altering surgeries and all that comes with it and work with the family members supporting the above mentioned populations. Additionally, I offer services to all medical providers. My treatment focus includes the wide scope of stress, anxiety, depression, Trauma, substance use & codependence and grief/loss.
