I am passionate about helping people find the nuance of balance in this chaotic experience we call life. And there are times when life is really hard and we need a safe place to process challenges and rediscover our direction in life. I strive to create a warm, caring space where a collaborative dialogue can happen to create an individualized therapeutic approach. My therapeutic style leans on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and includes Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR and mindfulness, with a little yoga thrown in periodically. I enjoy change and seek out intermittently so I have lived in a handful of different places. My journey started in Wyoming, born and raised. I went to and graduated from University of Utah with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Sport Science and a Master’s of Exercise and Sport Psychology. From there, I went to University of Denver in Colorado to get a Master’s of Social Work. I spent the next 17 years working in a variety of different spaces including residential treatment for eating disorders as a Body Image Therapist and outpatient clinician for depression, anxiety, trauma work, and as the Supervisor for Crisis Response. In my spare time, I enjoy running, yoga, hiking, camping, and spending time with my husband, step-kids, and our family of furry four legged critters.
