Jhana specializes in working with adults and has a special passion for working with trauma survivors, fellow Veterans, first responders, and women of color. Her clinical interests include OCD, trauma, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, perfectionism, obsessive compulsive personality disorder, adult ADHD, and compassion fatigue. Jhana’s therapeutic approach empowers clients by encouraging them to identify their values, nonjudgmentally acknowledge their emotions and thought responses, and take meaningful action to align with their goals. She strongly emphasizes self-compassion and self-efficacy through the use of practical skills, mindfulness, and humor. Jhana has training in and experience providing Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT), a transdiagnostic evidence-based therapy that addresses issues with overcontrol and rigidity. She uses an integrative approach to target the maladaptive beliefs and behaviors that leave clients feeling immobilized or distressed.
