Dr. Lin is currently a clinical psychologist working within the DOE on Oahu. Originally from New York City, she most recently served as an Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) within the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), and as a licensed clinical psychologist at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorder (CUCARD) in Manhattan from 2021 to 2025 specializing in child and adolescent OCD and anxiety. She also served as the Training Director at CUCARD Manhattan in charge of the externship and postdoctoral programs. Dr. Lin graduated with her B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned both her master’s (M.S.) and doctorate (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology with a focus in Children and Adolescents from the APA-accredited PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. Her doctoral training sites included Lucille Packard Stanford Children's Hospital, UCSF San Francisco General Hospital Pediatrics Clinic, and the Gronowski Center. Dr. Lin completed her predoctoral internship at the APA-accredited Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) in Hawaii, working with underserved populations before moving to Seattle to complete her post-doctoral fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she specialized in treating obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in an intensive outpatient program and worked in the Mood and Anxiety Program. Dr. Lin specializes in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with OCD, anxiety, hoarding, and related disorders utilizing evidence based treatments such as exposure and response prevention (ERP) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She is also certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She most recently moved back to Hawaii to be near her partner's family and friends.
