Many people come to therapy not because something is "wrong" with them, but because the ways they have always coped have stopped working. You may be functioning well on the outside while feeling stuck, disconnected, or caught in the same patterns in your relationships. I offer a space to slow down and understand what is happening beneath the surface. I am a licensed psychologist with over fifteen years of clinical experience, working from a relational psychodynamic perspective. Together we look at how your history, your relationships, and the parts of yourself you have learned to set aside shape how you live now. I am an active, engaged therapist, and I believe the relationship we build is part of how change happens. I work with adults in English and Korean, and I welcome conversations about living between cultures, languages, and generations. I also provide psychological evaluations for immigration matters, and supervision and consultation for clinicians. I am licensed in New York and New Jersey and hold PSYPACT authorization for telehealth in participating states. I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University and have taught as adjunct faculty at Teachers College, Columbia University and Brooklyn College.
