My ideal client is someone who feels stuck in patterns of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or compulsive behaviors—whether that’s due to obsessive-compulsive disorder, general anxiety, or difficulty managing life transitions. They may be frustrated by how much time and energy their symptoms take from daily life, or feel that their thoughts and behaviors are controlling them rather than the other way around. Their needs often include learning effective, evidence-based tools to manage obsessions, compulsions, and anxiety, as well as having a safe, supportive space to explore the underlying fears and emotions that fuel these patterns. Many also need guidance in helping family members understand how to best support them. Their goals typically center on reducing the grip of OCD or anxiety, improving their ability to manage stress, and reconnecting with the things that bring meaning, joy, and purpose. Ultimately, they want freedom—to spend more time living their lives and less time battling their thoughts.
