Introduction

Clients often describe me as having a calming, grounded presence that makes it easier to open up. My style is warm, genuine, and relational—focused on building trust and connection. In our work together, we’ll explore not just the challenges you’re facing, but the life experiences that have shaped you. Therapy becomes a space for reflection, healing, and meaningful growth through a collaborative journey. I help individuals navigate life transitions that impact identity, relationships, and emotional well-being. They may be entering menopause, parenting a strong-willed teen, shifting careers, coming out, or challenging long-held cultural or religious beliefs. I offer therapy grounded in compassion and clarity. My integrative approach blends emotional insight, values work, and practical tools to help you reconnect with your authentic self. With over 28 years in public education, I’ve worked closely with adolescents who are neurodiverse or navigating behavioral challenges. This experience has given me deep insight into the emotional struggles, social pressures, and developmental shifts teens face—and the toll it can take on parents and families trying to support them. I specialize in helping adults build stronger, more compassionate connections with their teens by offering practical tools, emotional clarity, and a safe space to reflect. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in power struggles, or simply seeking a more peaceful path forward, I bring a grounded, relational approach to help you parent with confidence and care. I offer a number of sliding scale appointments based on your financial situation. These are offered through Open Path Collective.
