Introduction

Hi, I'm Jillian, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Washington and Oregon with more than 11 years of clinical experience. I have worked with individuals and families in a variety of therapeutic settings, including nearly a decade in New York City before relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2018. Many of the people I work with have spent years carrying experiences they never fully had the opportunity to process. Whether you're healing from childhood trauma, or sexual trauma, trying to untangle the lasting effects of religious experiences, or navigating life without children or without a partner in a world that often assumes marriage and parenthood are the expected path, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater confidence and peace. My practice focuses on trauma and the ways it shapes our sense of self, relationships, and the beliefs we carry about who we are. I specialize in childhood trauma, sexual abuse and sexual trauma, religious trauma, attachment and relationship concerns, anxiety, and supporting women who are navigating life without children or without a partner—whether by choice, infertility, circumstance, or another life path. I understand that these experiences can leave people feeling isolated, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves, and I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, accepted, and empowered to define fulfillment on their own terms. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe that a trusting therapeutic relationship is one of the most important foundations for meaningful change. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each client's unique experiences, goals, and strengths. I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients heal from past experiences, develop healthier patterns, strengthen self-worth, and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. Whether you're working through painful memories, questioning beliefs that no longer serve you, or searching for a stronger sense of identity and purpose, I'd be honored to support you on that journey.
