Introduction

At Lavender Hills therapy we work toward providing a calm, therapeutic environment where you can feel safe to process through the hills of life while also discovering ways to thrive despite the ups and downs that you experience. As a co-occurring therapist I strive to provide a safe place for individuals to discover how to heal from their past, be mindful of the present, and learn how to plan for the future. My name is Jillian, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Substance Use Disorder Professional; I am also trauma informed and person centered. I meet you where you are at, I work toward helping you to build self-efficacy, I understand trauma, and I can work toward solutions with you. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a lens that I work through to help you identify the benefits of mindfulness, learn how to identify and regulate emotions, identify how to tolerate stress in crisis situations and how to communicate with others in effective ways.
