Introduction

Taking the first steps towards finding a therapist you “click” with can be intimidating (and exhausting), so I give you tons of credit for getting this far. I work with people who are ready to understand themselves and their relationships on a deeper level. Some have spent years in therapy and still feel stuck in familiar patterns. They may understand where their struggles come from and can recite all their patterns—but still find themselves repeating them. Others are coming to therapy for the first time and are beginning to ask questions they've never had the space to explore. After years of focusing on other people, responsibilities, relationships, or simply getting through life, they may be ready to turn inward, understand themselves more deeply, and consider what they want for this next chapter. I feel honored to work with my clients because I know how hard it can be to open up about personal things. I believe in the healing power of a strong therapeutic relationship—a relationship where you feel truly “seen” and understood. Part of what I love about being a therapist is hearing people's rich stories of not only heartache and struggle, but resilience and healing. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to talk about deeply personal experiences, curious enough to explore what's underneath them, and supported enough to try something different. I like to think of a therapist's role as a supportive, steady companion who walks next to you on your path. While I certainly do not have all the answers, I do have plenty of skills and experience that might be helpful along the way. If it sounds like we might “click,” feel free to reach out to schedule a complimentary intro call. I look forward to it! ----------------- GROUP THERAPY "Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation; healing is an act of communion" -bell hooks Because I strongly believe that healing comes from relationships (both with ourselves and with others), I run several groups built for connection and self-discovery.
