Introduction

Jillian is a Clinical Social Worker who started her career as a therapist in 2012. She has a broad range of clinical experience working with clients across the lifespan and specialized training in Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also has many years of experience facilitating therapy groups. She offers both in-person and virtual sessions. Her style has been described as warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. ----------------- Taking the first steps towards finding a therapist you "click" with can be intimidating (and exhausting) so I give you tons of credit for getting this far. I feel honored to work with my clients because I know how hard it can be to open up about personal things. I believe in the healing power of a strong therapeutic relationship, a relationship where you feel truly "seen" and understood. I like to think of a therapist's role as a supportive, steady companion who walks next to you on your path. While I certainly do not have all the answers, I do have plenty of skills and experience that might be helpful along the way. Part of what I love about being a therapist is hearing people's rich stories of not only heartache and struggle, but resilience and healing. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to talk about those deeply personal experiences. If it sounds like we might "click", feel free to reach out to schedule an intro call. I look forward to it! ----------------- GROUP THERAPY "Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation; healing is an act of communion" -bell hooks Because I strongly believe that healing comes from connection, I run various ongoing interpersonal process groups, support groups, and skills groups. COMING OCTOBER 2026: COLLEGE ADJUSTMENT SUPPORT GROUP I am excited to host an 8 week (virtual) support group for students struggling with the adjustment to college. Participants will find connection, support, and tools to navigate the transition to college life. Please reach out for more details!
