Introduction

Hello, The Sol Haus-Counseling is a mental health practice started by Jira Williams, a Licensed Professional Counselor and clinical leader with extensive experience supporting individuals, children, and families through life transitions, stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and personal and professional growth. I got started in this work because I’ve always been deeply interested in how people make meaning of their experiences, especially during moments when life feels unsteady, confusing, or heavy. Over the years, my work has expanded across community mental health, leadership roles, coaching, and direct clinical care, allowing me to see both the personal and systemic factors that affect well-being. This dual perspective shapes how I show up in my work as thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each person’s lived experience and goals. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I provide therapy and coaching services, specializing in work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, emotional regulation challenges, relationship concerns, burnout, and major life transitions. I also have specialized experience supporting caregivers, parents, and high-responsibility individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of self-criticism or people-pleasing, or caught in patterns of overthinking. In therapy, we focus on healing, regulation, and emotional processing. In coaching, the focus is more forward-looking and action-oriented, helping you clarify goals, strengthen self-trust, improve boundaries, and develop practical strategies for navigating work, leadership, and life demands. Both approaches are collaborative and centered on helping you feel more grounded, capable, and aligned with your values. My goal is for clients and coaching clients alike to leave sessions feeling clearer, more empowered, and better equipped to navigate challenges with confidence, compassion, and self-awareness. If you are looking for a therapist or coach who is non-judgmental, thoughtful, and focused on meaningful, sustainable change, I would be honored to work with you.
