Introduction

As Your Therapist: Whether I am working with individuals or groups, in personal or professional settings, my purpose is the same: to create nurturing spaces where people can learn, heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves and one another. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist. For more than twenty-five years, I have supported leaders, parents, teachers, coaches, and caregivers in navigating life's challenges with greater clarity, compassion, and courage. I offer a space for you to slow down, notice your experience, and receive the same attention and care you so generously offer others. I support you in your relationship with yourself — helping you understand your feelings, responses, and needs: the overwhelm with all you juggle, the frustration in tense relationships, the bewilderment with habitual reactions, and the longing to feel more joy, connection, and worth. You will appreciate the root of these "Parts" and uncover the power to transform old patterns and beliefs. As you find your center, you will translate this shift into your daily interactions and how you carry out your many responsibilities. In this way, you cultivate "Self-Leadership" — becoming more calm, compassionate, courageous, clear, connected, and confident, even amid uncertainty and challenge. My work is rooted in the transformative wisdom of Internal Family Systems, a world-renowned, non-pathologizing, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic model for individuals, couples, and families. I've also developed PAUSE for Self-Leadership™, an IFS-inspired model that helps people apply Self-Leadership in everyday life. PAUSE is a simple, practical process that helps you settle your nervous system, recognize your patterns, and respond rather than react in those tough "button-pushing" moments. PAUSE is interwoven in the therapeutic journey and customized to serve you. The principles of PAUSE are shared in my book, The Self-Led Educator, published by PESI, and guide my work with individuals and organizations around the world. Whether we work together individually or in a group, my goal is not simply to help you feel better in the moment, but to empower you with the understanding, skills, and practices to sustain meaningful change over time. Trainer and Consultant: As Founder and President of the Self-Leadership Collaborative, I lead a global team dedicated to helping individuals, organizations, and schools integrate PAUSE for Self-Leadership as a way of being. Through workshops, consulting, keynote presentations, and professional learning experiences, we teach PAUSE for Self-Leadership™ as a practical framework for well-being, communication, collaboration, and leadership. Our work supports people in moving beyond reactivity and stress toward greater connection, resilience, and collective capacity. If you are interested in bringing PAUSE for Self-Leadership to your organization, school, or community, or in bringing me in as a speaker or consultant, I invite you to learn more through the Self-Leadership Collaborative. My team and I would be delighted to explore how we can support your goals. Visit our website: www.selfleadershipcollaborative.com Finally, I want you to know that I will show up for you not only as a therapist and guide, but as a fellow, compassionate human being on the journey. My work is informed by a lifelong commitment to personal growth through mindfulness, yoga, reflective practice, and continuous learning. I have extensive experience as a therapist, educator and organizational leader, and I understand firsthand the joys and demands of balancing professional responsibilities, relationships, parenting, and personal well-being. As the mother of a teenage son, a wife, daughter and friend, I continue to learn every day about presence, patience, and growth. It would be an honor to accompany you on your journey. Together, we can explore what is possible.
