As a bilingual therapist (Spanish), I strive to provide a space for you that feels comfortable, non-judgmental, and accepted to share your struggles because it can be difficult talking to someone about your struggles especially when dealing with cultural norms that reinforce the idea of not sharing them. I am committed to help you in reaching your established goals that are most important and relevant to your well-being through collaboration, compassion, and transparency. I have obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Long Beach. I hold my Masters in Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health emphasis from Palo Alto University. I have experience in working with primarily children, teens, and young adults through anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My primary style when working with young children (ages 4-10) is utilizing child-centered play therapy. Children don't process trauma the way adults do — they play out the trauma, work through it, and heal. When working with teens and adults, I approach our sessions with a compassion and multicultural framework where together, we focus on identifying our patterns from a compassionate lines and establish healthier patterns.
