Dr. Jodie Goldberg Singer is a Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of the Chicago Center for Growth and Change. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience treating children, adolescents, families, and adults from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression and trauma as well as navigating life transitions and self-identity and cultural identity exploration. My treatment approach is individualized, utilizing psychodynamic, ego state, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I have had many patients come to me, after having years of therapy, who report only partial relief. I have had a lot of success utilizing EMDR and other approaches to help them successfully address these ongoing challenges in an in depth and comprehensive way. I also have an understanding and respect for individuals who are engaged in holistic, alternative therapies and am happy to collaborate with outside healers. I work collaboratively with each individual based on their needs and comfort level, and where they are in their healing journey; therefore, the structure of sessions will vary.
