Introduction

I frequently tell clients I am a non-traditional therapist. Clients that are fearful of therapy, often quickly share with me that therapy is not at all what they expected it to be. Well, I'm a mid-life career changer that LOVES what I do. It took me many years, but I found my passion in being a therapist. I prefer sweatshirts over cardigans, I like to wear jeans, and I curse far more that I want to admit. (I'm also a work in progress.) The point is, as humans we frequently "judge a book by its cover". Selecting a therapist based on their photo & profile is no exception. Trying on and wearing ill-fitting shoes is far less painful than meeting a new therapist. That's why I offer a free consult to see if I'm the fit for you! At Stable Gains Mental Health Service LLC, I believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health and addiction therapy, regardless of their background or circumstances. My goal is to remove barriers to care and create a welcoming environment for all clients seeking counseling. I advocate for an integrated, holistic approach to mental health because your physical health is just as important as your mental health; both drastically influence one another. During your initial visit, we will conduct a thorough biopsychosocial assessment to help identify any areas that could be adversely affecting your mental health. As we work together, we will collaborate to create YOUT personalized treatment plan tailored to fit your life, needs, and goals.
