My path to becoming a counselor began with a deep desire to support others through life’s challenges, and I bring both academic training and real-world insight to the work I do with clients. My approach to counseling is flexible and responsive to the unique needs of each individual. I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. Whether you're seeking help navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where growth and healing can take root. I believe in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them with empathy, respect, and intention. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist – Individual (CCTSI). This certification reflects my specialized training in supporting those who have experienced trauma, and it informs much of the compassionate, client-centered care I strive to provide As a pre-licensed counselor, I receive direct clinical supervision from AZBBHE approved Virginia Kuhn, M.A., LPC., and Diana Canfield, M.S., LPC.
